Being a calm force
Your practice makes a difference.
Thank you Alessandra Olanow for this image after our tea recently; this angle is the one i never get to see.
This week.
Love from California; filming with two stellar MDs and a dear friend of two decades for a women’s menopause show, The Luminescence Podcast. Thankful to be part of this vital movement changing the story about women, aging, and the honor we have as we become wise elders on Earth.
While sometimes I feel out of my depths with the docs, I’m always cognizant that I’m a woman in menopause and i know some things. We’re changing the narrative, making it real, being of service to all women. For my part, adding my heart, studentship, lived experience and love… being told that I’m a bastion of calm on set; I know it’s my practice that makes the difference.
One more day of shooting today; tomorrow when I see you for our Gathering I’ll be at my best friend’s house from college for our Live Gathering before flying home. Known and loved her since 1988… the sacred math of that!
The Matter of Menopause.
(Men in the room, thank you for sharing with your women friends.)
A few years back I began recording a free podcast, entitled The Matter of Menopause, mostly to learn as much as I could about it as I was navigating the terrain. Releasing new episodes soon, always free, please enjoy.
