I am reading this post as I wait at EWR for my flight to Paris then Marseille to spend three glorious weeks in Provence. I hemmed and hawed about taking so much time off of work, teaching, family, but you are right - life is too short so you’ve got to go for it! Thanks for the reminder.
As I wrote that, I was originally thinking of Santa Fe our shared geography, but at the speed of single thumb typing, I realised by the time I got to the ‘!’ that you are already and always home, because you have arrived in the elegance and trustworthiness of your own being❤️❤️Thank you for the gorgeousness of these pics and travelogue. And for the generosity with which you share chapters from your life and the path you have found..🙏🏼 The heat and beauty of NM await you! (I’m thumb-typing by the pool in the relative cool of early morning!)
Such a lovely powerful helpful post! The sculpture, its setting in chapel alcove and story, your candid take on the past and obvious readiness for the future, connection to family and friends (and Patti!!) are not so much on display as just a deeply ingrained part of a background landscape which never imposes, simply radiates.
What a beautiful and insightful sit and share. I’m taken by the mutual love and respect you have together. Truly inspiring. I’m excited for your foundation! Thank you for continuing to be a light shining on the path of positivity, kindness, and generosity. 🙏🏻
This is so spectacular and beautiful to hear your journey in Italy. The passion, and gratefulness that comes out of you 2. This Art is a miracle and you are both a miracle, thank you 🙏
I want to thank you for sharing part of your Italy experience and your honesty about your younger self. It is inspiring to hear where you have been and all of it brought you to where you are along with who you are today. It is so refreshing to watch the love between the two of you. Life is very short and you have the greatest of all gifts which is love. Enjoy every moment and know as you go about your ordinary day the love you share is making this world better because you are here and have chosen to share yourselves. Xo
