Ayurveda deeply honors the power of hydration—thank you for bringing attention to this! After completing a month-long Ayurvedic cleanse (Panchakarma) in India, I was illuminated to the root of many of my issues: something as simple and profound as hydration. Yes, clean, filtered water is essential—but so are hydrating foods and practices.
Nourishing the body with prana-filled, fresh, living foods; drinking around 2 liters of plain, boiled water daily; and living in a restful, relaxed state are all crucial practices. Stress, after all, depletes the body on every level. I’m all about hydration in all its beautiful, vital forms!
I struggle to hydrate as living in Rural Greece the tap water is salted so we need to drink water delivered and i am aware i feel i need to resrict the use....and i dont like buying bottles as i object to single use plastics.....however needs must so i now have increased my useage of water and purchased a water flask. Wet food is an issue here as the Greek diet is salads and meat or fish....in summer very few stews or soups. Rest....i have a great calm live but pesonal relationships cause me stress so i am working on 'let them' and protecting my peace.

I am often dehydrated and struggle to consume enough liquids. I like the idea of “wet foods” and going to give that a try. Are there essential oils/blend you can recommend to help?

Hmm coffee, I swapped to Swiss water process decaf coffee. I wonder if it’s the caffeine or the coffee itself that’s dehydrating. Thank you so much for this. I’ve carried myself over to Ann’s work. Most resonate.
This was insightful! Thank you. I had no idea garlic was inflammatory ..interesting. salty water I learned about and now I see the benefits my body holds the hydration vs expelling water as a diuretic. Dark chocolate I don't think I could release this one. Rich and delicious!
